Training Philosophy

Health and sustainability is my number 1 priority! We'll work with a minimum of supplements and I encourage you to have regular blood work done to ensure you are always safe and healthy, because health is your most valuable asset!

The idea is to make working out and looking after your health a habit, a life-style. Yes, it might take a little longer, but hey, if you commit to life-long training what do a couple of extra months matter? Rather have an approach that relies on healthy foods and 8 hours of sleep, which you can maintain until you are old in years with a good quality of life.

Let’s look at what you want and need. Let’s make it sustainable: once you’ve reached your goal, we can create your “mind anchor” to get your subconscious aboard, so you can keep up the good work. My goal is self-reliance. If you are then good to go, perfect, and should you ever need more support, I’m here for you.

Did you know?

You should aim for volume, not intensity: what good is an injury caused by excessive training that leads to a half-year training stop?

Meeting Fred as a trainer was one of the positive things that happened in my life. It was a perfect timing. My self-esteem was low. I absolutely needed to do something for my physical health. Thank you Fred. I have become mindful of exercise and proper diet. When he introduced some difficult core trainings, I thought I could not do those; like push-ups, standing on the balance board, Russian twist, to name a few considering I was already over 50. I was wrong. With a decision and a strong determination combined with Fred’s technique it became possible.

Fred inspired me to take up my gym training again. His contagious enthusiasm got me to hit those weights again. I also found it very inspiring to go through the process of developing my own goal picture. Thank you Fred!

I am pleased to express my appreciation to Fred for his encouragement, assistance, and expertise on personal training. At the age of 80 I became aware that I needed to adopt a healthier style of life to reduce the costs of aging. Fred’s friendly encouragement helped me to move more. His assistance in learning a new exercise was knowledgeable and understanding. His expertise is based on his own experience with physical training, and he was able to transfer some of that to me in the small portions I can digest. His idea of having a photograph to offer encouragement while training at home, for example, was a simple, but good help. Thank you.

Fred is the best trainer, with a very holistic approach and great knowledge of the human body. Apart from visiting the group fitness classes he held at work, I also worked together with Fred on my motivational picture. I very much appreciate Fred’s enthusiasm and believing in me and my potential!
